Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of the Walpat iPhone app and walpat.app (together, “Walpat”). By downloading or using Walpat, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Walpat.

Using Walpat

Walpat is a personal budgeting tool. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You're responsible for the information you enter and for keeping your iPhone and Apple ID secure.

Not financial advice

Walpat helps you track spending and stay within the budget you set. Its figures, pace estimates, insights, nudges and assistant answers are for information only and are not financial, tax, legal or investment advice. AI-generated content — including Smart Import results, summaries and Ask Walpat answers — can be wrong, so please check important details before relying on them. Exchange rates are provided by third parties and may be delayed or inaccurate.

Walpat Pro

• Plans. Walpat Pro is available as a monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the App Store before you buy.
• Free trial. New monthly subscribers may get a free trial. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, your subscription starts and you'll be charged.
• Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
• Lifetime. A lifetime purchase unlocks Pro for as long as Walpat is offered on the App Store, on devices signed in to the same Apple ID.
• Payments and refunds. All payments are handled by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Restoring. You can restore purchases on any device signed in to the same Apple ID.

Feature requirements

Some features depend on your device and iOS version. Smart Import, SMS tracking, Ask Walpat, written summaries and AI-written nudges need iOS 27 on an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence, with it turned on. Apple Pay tracking needs iOS 27. Features may change as Apple's platforms change.

Your data

Your budget data belongs to you. How Walpat handles it is described in our Privacy Policy. Because your data is stored on your device and in your iCloud, please keep backups — we can't recover data that's deleted from your device and iCloud.

Acceptable use

Please don't misuse Walpat — for example by reverse engineering it, interfering with how it works, or using it to break the law.

Intellectual property

Walpat, its design, logo and content are owned by us and protected by law. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app; they don't transfer any ownership. The app is also licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

Changes and availability

We may update, add or remove features, and we may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we'll update the date above and let you know in the app. Continuing to use Walpat after changes means you accept them.

Disclaimer and liability

Walpat is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for financial decisions made using Walpat. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer laws that can't be excluded.
